Privacy Policy

This policy explains how moisesmelo.com, blog.moisesmelo.com and the automation on our Instagram profile collect, use and protect personal data, under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13,709/2018, LGPD).

1. Data controller

2. What we collect

• Email address, when you enter it to download a free resource on the blog.
• Browsing data, collected by Google Analytics 4 through cookies: pages visited, time on site, traffic source, device and browser type and approximate location.
• Language preference, stored in the site_locale cookie.
• Connection country, provided by the hosting provider to pick the page language. We do not store your IP address.

3. How we use it

• To deliver the resource you asked for and, occasionally, send related content. You can opt out at any time.
• To measure audience and improve the content of the sites.
• To show the site in your language.

The legal bases are your consent, for the email address, and legitimate interest, for audience measurement and language preference.

4. Who we share it with

We never sell or rent your data. It is processed only by the providers that run the sites: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (email storage) and Google (Google Analytics). These services may process data outside Brazil, under the safeguards required by the LGPD.

5. Instagram automation

When you comment a keyword on one of our Instagram posts, we receive, through Meta's Instagram API, the comment text, the comment ID, and your Instagram username and user ID. We use this only to reply to your comment and send you the content you requested by Direct Message. We do not sell or share this data or use it for advertising. Comment IDs are kept only to prevent duplicate messages. To request deletion, email contact.moisesmelo@gmail.com.

6. Third-party links

The sites link to social networks and recommended tools, some of them referral (affiliate) links. Once you click, the destination site's privacy policy applies.

7. How long we keep it

Email addresses are kept until you ask for removal. Google Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months. The language cookie expires after 1 year.

8. Your rights

You can request confirmation that we process your data, access, correction, deletion, portability and information about sharing, and you can withdraw consent, by writing to contact.moisesmelo@gmail.com. You can also block cookies in your browser settings.

9. Security

The sites use an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and access to stored data is restricted.

10. Changes

This policy may be updated. The date at the top shows the version in force.
